Explains her delay in answering his letter of April 2 by her illness; every effort should be made to improve, and to improve cheaply, porcelain sinks and baths for private houses and for Hospitals; asks him to send a specimen of each kind, and allow it to remain for 24 hours, thus making it possible to look at it as soon as she feels well enough to do so.
