She would like the white rose very much and is very much obliged to her 'half nephew' for his noble offer; she is now about some noble plans for a great Manchester infirmary; she admires Jenny Lind and would like to see her and help her with her Swedish nursing plans; proposes to send Miss Lind all her books; she has a folio volume of information about provincial hospitals but the average proportions of medical and surgical cases and their character is not given.
