UNIDENTIFIED CORRESPONDENT [?AUNT MAI]

[Nov. 1855]

Dr. Hall has palmed Miss Wear on F.N, by appointing her to the Monastery; Dr. Hall is so clever, it is almost a pleasure to contemplate such cleverness even at one's own expense; she does not choose to give up the Monastery now because it may be another trap to put the Brickbats' nuns there, so she must have Wear squabbling with Mrs. Shaw Stewart; F.N. has no one to send to the Monastery with Miss Wear, but she must send two women to prevent her Cloughing it or Nun-ning it; P.S. F.N. can find no evidence that any of the nurses were concerned in Salisbury's robbery.
