Lea Hurst
3 Aug. [1852]
Aunt Evans was so pleased with his letter and asked F.N. to answer it; she - Aunt Evans - is a little better but not much; the river has been very low and the weather very hot; Mr. Wass is dead and two of his sons, terrible fellows, are going to Australia; news of Lea Hurst staff; they see the rail road go by every night at ten o'clock and the grand fireworks attract a numerous assemblage; she wishes he could come here before going to Cambridge.
