MISS A. L. PRINGLE
10 South Street
St. Andrews Day
F.N. asks Miss Pringle and Miss Crossland to help her answer the enclosed, about a woman who claimed she was trained at St. Thomas, by Miss Nightingale; she is trying to be a Matron in Honolulu and the Mother Superior of Devonport Sisters of Mercy is enquiring; this Mother Superior was in the Crimea with F.N. to the very end and then went to the Hawaian Islands with sisters; it so often happens that Matrons are appointed without further enquiry because they claim to be St. Thomas' trained or to have been in the Crimea, that F.N. is very anxious to sift this woman.
