MISS AMY TURTON
10 South Street, Park Lane W
25 Aug. 1897
F.N. should be shocked at herself to find Miss Turton's kind letter is a month old; Miss Crossland is alas no longer 'with us'; after twenty-one years of splendid service she resigned to the infinite regret of everyone; F.N. thinks it would still be worth Miss Turton's while to visit St. Thomas' where Miss Gordon is Matron; and to see Miss Pepper in Victoria Ward; F.N. is so delighted with Miss Turton's wonderful success at Florence; if Miss Turton is still in London & not quite disgusted with her, she suggests any afternoon at 5.30, except today and Friday.
