Regret over the delay in answering letters due to pressure of work and illness; she will not be able to see him; refers him to the Secretary of the N.F., E. Bonham Carter; extends her warmest wishes for the progress of Training Schools for Nurses 'as well in the United States as in England, among all our English speaking brothers and sisters'; asks him to thank General Eaton for his letter, and assure him of her hopes for his success.
