She has not written for a few days as they have been travelling from Geneva for 6 days; Miss Allen is with them; they are at Fontainbleau to see the magnificent palace before going on to Paris for 3 months; family news passed on from letters received; they met so many kind people in Geneva including Madame di Sismondi and several people who remember Papa's stay there 22 years ago; his old landlady; the cause of the dispute between the Swiss and the French who are marching to the Swiss frontier; they hope to see the Ates for the christening of Louis Phillipels grandson; the Duke of Devonshire whom they met in Geneva has given them an introduction to Lady Granville, the British Ambassadress in Paris.
