The India Public Health Service; stresses the need to consider local opinion and even prejudices, and not to apply broad general principles to all India and to all classes of persons; outlines the main decis ions of the Royal Commission which laid down the principles underlying health Services for Military and non-military States; cites French Sanitary measures in Algeria as model; considers death among Europeans as due to lack of action in sanitary matters though knowledge is not lacking; offers to put her knowledge and experience at Sir Stafford's disposal.
