[June to Nov. 1865]
'Private'; Manning turning Sister Gonzaga and co. out of house and home.
F.N. has had a terrible collision with him about W; asks that Aunt Mai or Bertha call on the sisters; she suggests £5 5s. fee for Reily, Lady Clarges' agent, for special service to her; she had thought Uncle Sam and the Lushingtons might like to move into the house, but the woman of the house is a thief and how is she to prosecute this woman?
